How It Works
First. Place Your Order
Firstly, be sure to calculate the price of your book using our online pricing tool. Once you are ready to place an order, fill out our order form to the best of your abilities - don't worry, you can always make changes later on! After your order is placed, you will receive an automatic reply with instructions for uploading your print-ready PDF files. Once we receive your files, they will be reviewed by one of our staff members, and we will notify you of any changes needed before we create your invoice. When your files are ready to go, we will send you an invoice and collect full payment or deposit (depending on the total cost of your order), in order to get the proofing process started.
After we receive your payment, we print a full proof of your book’s contents as well as any other printed elements, such as covers or dust jackets. Your proof will be trimmed to size, but not bound. This is the time for you to approve image quality, check for typos, and make any necessary changes before final printing. If you need to make edits, you can submit new files. Additional proofs can be purchased if needed. Once you approve final printing based off your acceptance of the printed proof, we will move to production and start making your books.
And finally. Production
Orders are moved into production after you approve final printing, and when we have print-ready, final files submitted by you. Softcover book orders usually ship within 2-3 weeks after final proof approval, whereas hardcover books will generally take 3-4 weeks. Very large orders or orders with custom material requirements can take up to 5 weeks. Rush services are available on a case-by-case basis. Unless selected otherwise, your books will be securely packed and shipped UPS Ground. Local pick up is also available. Please see our FAQs page for more information on shipping.
